To build awareness about the impact of nutrition on overall health, SIMS Hospital organized a Nutrition and Dietetics Health talk at Technosoft Corporation, DLF office on Thursday, 23 February 2017 in the afternoon. Ms Uthara U, Chief Dietician, SIMS Hospital addressed 180 members of management staff. Ms Uthara spoke about lifestyle issues impacting health, nutrition, fitness and exercise. To build awareness about orthopedic problems SIMS Hospital organized an Orthopedic Speciality Camp with Physiotherapy at the Apollo Tyres Office at Ooragadum on Monday, 13 February 2017 in the afternoon. Launch of the Online Hemodiafiltration Facility

In commemoration of World Kidney Day SIMS Hospital launched the Online Hemodiafiltration Facility on March 9, 2017 at a function at the Auditorium, 3rd Floor, C-Block, SIMS Hospital Campus at 11 AM. Hemodiafiltration (HDF) is a form of renal replacement therapy that removes more middle-molecular-weight solutes than standard hemodialysis. The event will help to spread awareness about kidney diseases in the light of a rise in cases the world over.
