Dr. G. Karthikeyan Assumes Office as ISSH President

Dr. G. Karthikeyan, Director, Institute of Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery (ICAPS) at SIMS Hospitals, has assumed office as President of the Indian Society for Surgery of the Hand (ISSH) at the Asia Pacific Congress held in Mumbai. In his inaugural presidential address, Dr. Karthikeyan outlined his vision to expand access to specialised hand surgery across underserved regions through structured training, collaborative research, and strengthened clinical outreach. He also emphasised advancing care for congenital hand differences, trauma, and complex reconstructive conditions, while promoting the global recognition of India's achievements in hand and reconstructive surgery.
