Dr. V.V. Bashi Represents SIMS at IACTSCON 2025

Dr. V.V. Bashi, Senior Consultant, Director and Chief Cardiac Surgeon at the Institute of Advanced Aortic Disease (ICAAD), SIMS Hospitals, represented SIMS as an invited faculty member at the 71st Annual Conference of the Indian Association of Cardiovascular-Thoracic Surgeons (IACTSCON 2025), held in New Delhi from February 20 to 23, 2025. The conference, centred on the theme "United for Excellence: Global Perspectives in Cardiothoracic Surgery, brought together leading cardiothoracic surgeons from India and abroad to deliberate on emerging advances in the specialty. As a faculty member and moderator, Dr. Bashi contributed to scientific sessions on the management of complex aortic diseases and contemporary aortic surgical techniques. The meeting also featured discussions on minimally invasive and robotic cardiac surgery, trans catheter interventions, and evolving approaches in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery
