Dr. Chandra Bose is a skilled Consultant in Surgical Gastroenterology with advanced training in minimally invasive, HPB, and oncological GI surgery. He completed his MBBS from Trichy Medical College (2004), MS in General Surgery from Madurai Medical College (2008), and his MCh in Surgical Gastroenterology from the prestigious Madras Medical College, Chennai (2019) — where he was awarded the Gold Medal for academic and clinical excellence. He holds a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS) and has undergone specialized training in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery.
His clinical expertise spans the full spectrum of surgical gastroenterology, including advanced surgical management of diseases affecting the oesophagus, stomach, intestines, liver, and pancreas. He is an expert in laparoscopic and minimally invasive techniques for complex abdominal procedures, with a specialized focus on Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) conditions and gastrointestinal oncology. He has been widely recognized across leading Chennai hospitals including SIMS and Unittas for consistently high success rates in complex GI procedures.
