Dr. Gnanavelu Yoganathan is a dedicated and specialized Laryngologist and ENT Surgeonwith over 8 years of clinical experience in voice, airway, and swallowing disorders. He completed a prestigious two-year Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Laryngology and Phonosurgery at Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore — one of India's premier tertiary care institutions — and has further enriched his expertise through international observerships in Germany under leading laryngologists, gaining advanced exposure to voice diagnostics, complex airway management, and tertiary laryngology practices. Currently serving as Associate Consultant in Laryngology at SIMS Hospital, Chennai, he has held academic appointments as Assistant Professor of ENT at multiple medical colleges in Tamil Nadu and has extensive experience across government and private healthcare systems. Dr.Gnanavelu is an active researcher with ongoing projects in laryngeal amyloidosis, post-intubation tracheal stenosis, cervical inlet patch, and laryngeal chondrosarcoma. He has presented award-winning research at national conferences including LARYNX 2024 and PHONOCON 2025, reflecting his commitment to academic excellence and evidence-based laryngology care.
