Dr. Murali Krishnaswamy is a highly distinguished Senior Consultant and Interventional Radiologist with over 30 years of comprehensive experience in diagnostic and interventional radiology. He served as Professor of Radiology at Ramachandra Medical College (2004–2007) and subsequently as Head of the Department of Interventional Radiology at MIOT Hospital and Vijaya Health Centre, Chennai (2007–2025) — building one of the most experienced interventional radiology practices in South India. With a Post-Doctoral Certificate Course (PDCC) in Neuro and Vascular Interventions, Dr. Murali brings subspecialty-level expertise across the full spectrum of minimally invasive vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures. He has 3 chapters in textbooks and 24 scientific publications to his credit, and is the founder of the DNB Radiodiagnosis programme at MIOT Hospital — a testament to his enduring contribution to radiology training and education in Tamil Nadu.
