Dr. Sanjai Pattu Valappil is one of Chennai's most accomplished and internationally trained Cardiac Electrophysiologists, serving as Clinical Lead for Cardiac Electrophysiology and Advanced Cardiac Pacing at SRM Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS Hospital), Chennai. With a DM in Cardiology from Trivandrum Medical College, a Fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology from the prestigious Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences & Research, Bengaluru, and an Advanced Clinical EP Fellowship from Royal Adelaide Hospital, Australia, Dr. Sanjai brings an exceptional combination of national and international electrophysiology expertise to his clinical practice. Currently pursuing a PhD in Medical Sciences at the University of Adelaide, he represents the forefront of cardiac electrophysiology research and innovation in India. A Certified Proctor for ICD, CRT, Left Bundle Branch Area Pacing (LBBaP), SICD, and MICRA devices for Medtronic Inc. and St. Jude Medical Abbott (India), Dr. Sanjai is recognized as one of India's leading experts in advanced cardiac device implantation and cardiac ablation procedures. He is a prolific researcher with 24+ peer-reviewed publications in globally prestigious journals including Heart Rhythm, European Heart Journal, Journal of the American College of Cardiology, and Circulation: Arrhythmia and Electrophysiology.
