Dr. Siva Shanmuganathan. V is a dedicated and patient-focused Consultant Cardiologist based in Chennai, with specialized training in Interventional Cardiology and a strong commitment to delivering precise, evidence-based cardiac care. He completed his DM in Cardiology from the prestigious Madras Medical College, Chennai, equipping him with advanced skills in coronary angiography, angioplasty, intravascular imaging, and cardiac device management.
Dr. Siva is proficient in performing coronary angiograms through both radial and femoral approaches, simple to moderately complex coronary angioplasties, IVUS guided angioplasties, pericardiocentesis, and device closure procedures including ASD, PTMC, and Pacemaker implantation. He is also trained in transesophageal and transthoracic echocardiography and is capable of managing all forms of cardiac emergencies.
Driven by a passion for advancing his skills in TAVR, intra-cardiac devices, circulatory support systems, and electrophysiology, Dr. Siva is committed to bringing the latest innovations in interventional cardiology to his patients.
