Dr. S. Vivekanandan is a highly accomplished Liver Transplant Surgeon in Chennai with over 18 years of experience in Liver Transplantation and Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) Surgery. He currently serves as the Head of Liver Transplant Surgery at SIMS Hospital, Chennai, one of the leading centres for advanced liver transplant and hepatobiliary surgery in India. Dr. Vivekanandan has extensive international training and expertise in living donor liver transplantation, complex liver surgery, and pancreatic surgery, having trained in some of the world’s most prestigious liver transplant centres in the United Kingdom and South Korea. Over the course of his career, he has been involved in more than 750 living donor liver transplant procedures, making him one of the experienced specialists in liver transplant surgery in India.
