About the Institute

The Department of Oncology, at SIMS Hospitals, is a National Cancer Grid (NCG) affiliated centre, ensuring that our patients benefit from the best nationally standardised, evidence-based cancer treatment. Under the leadership of Director & Senior Consultant, Dr. Saravanan Periasamy, our multidisciplinary team of medical, surgical and radiation oncologists work collaboratively to develop personalised treatment plans tailored to each patient's condition.

The institute is recognised for its excellence in Robotic Surgery, that combines advanced surgical precision, molecular diagnostics and dedicated multidisciplinary tumour boards to deliver the most appropriate, evidence-based treatment, personalised in accordance to every patient’s need.
